Teaching History: This will be my 13th year with Plano ISD! I spent many years teaching Pre -Kindergarten. 4 years teaching Kindergarten at Rose Haggar Elementary. I am looking forward to my 3rd year teaching Kindergarten at Huffman! - GO HAWKS

Interests/Hobbies Outside of School: When I am not teaching you can find me working out, cooking, rollerskating and spending time with family and friends.

Why did you want to start the IB PYP at Huffman? I love how the PYP is inquiry-led! It challenges students to take responsibility for their learning and think for themselves. Students deepen their learning by developing a conceptual understanding as they explore local and global issues and opportunities. Watching students propose solutions that make a difference in their lives and the lives of others is fascinating!
