Mr. Andrew Wu

 

Hello Panthers families! Mr. Wu here with a quick introduction about... myself! Mr. Wu will be teaching math this year at the 6th grade level and supporting students at various grade levels throughout our campus. 

Mr. Wu lives with his wife, daughter, and son here in Plano. He enjoys reading, basketball, traveling, food, video games, Pokémon, Star Wars, and simply being with friends and family. He is a proud graduate of UT Dallas, where he obtained his bachelor’s, and UNT, where he received his Master’s.

As a teacher, Mr. Wu has taught English, writing, social studies, Math, and social skills. He's worked with students from 1st grade through 12th grade, and with college students.  He enjoys working with students in all capacities and looks forward to meeting you this year.   • Math 180 will be the building blocks we utilize in-class. Math 180 is a math intervention program designed to help address the needs of students who struggle in math, and their teachers. 

    IXL is a companion resource that will be used daily by students as well. IXL will mainly be used at home for practice and homework. It is expected that students spend an average of 20 minutes per day working on math at home.
