My name is Elizabeth Nipper and I will servicing the students and staff as the Special Education Team Leader for Wilson MS!
Before I started my career in education I was a Rotary International Foreign Exchange student in France. After returning to the US, I attended Youngstown State University where I completed my Bachelor of Arts in History and Philosophy.
I then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served as a reservist for seven years. While in the USMCR, I began to work on my Masters in Special Education, but that was put on hold when I was called up for deployment to Kabul, Afghanistan. While in Kabul, I was a mentor and advisor with the Coalition Forces to the Female Afghan National Army Training Camp. I was able to complete my Master’s program upon returning home. That same summer, I moved to Texas and have not left!
I started in PISD as a special education paraprofessional at McCall Elementary School, and have had the wonderful opportunity to teach at Meadows Elementary and Rice Middle School. I am excited to serve and advocate for the teachers, students, and families of Wilson Middle School!
