My parents were devouted Christians and I remembered he prayed hard to give me the opporunity to attend school.  By God's grace and through some genesous sponsor, I was able to attend a private Christian school.  I fell in love with school right away and I put a lot of effort into my study in order to earn some scholarships.  I did get some scholarships and managed to continue my education, earningmy BA degree ata ChristianUniversity, majoring in English Language Teaching andLIterature. Then as more opportunities arose I jumped at the chance to study in New Zealand pursuing my Masters of Educational leadership and several other post graduate programes, includingmy New Zealand teacher's certification.

My dad was right. I got my first prestigious job at the United States Agency for International Development at the US Embassy.   God is good.  He is always good to me.  He inspired my dad to send his children to school and have a better life.  I lived in New Zealand and taught there for 17 years.

I was also blessed with an opportunity to work in a Christian International School of China for 2 years.  I was very proud of my achievement in estbalishing an ESL Department there  I decided to return to New Zealand to be close to my children and I had the chance to continue my teaching career as the Head of ESL Department at a Catholic School, St. Dominic's Catolic College.

I arrived in the USA about 3 years ago and started my career as a substitute teacher. I worked on my teacher registration for a while, but then decided to not continue the process due to some breaucracy of the paper work.   In my present career as an ESL assistant, I stil teach and I am loving it.

I enjoy teaching, a craft that I love and believe thatI am well suited to this vocation.  Through teaching I can achieve my ambition to be a change agent, to make this world a better place
