Bienvenue à la classe de français! Je m'appelle Madame Zimmerman, et je suis professeur de français 1, 2, et 3H à Jasper! Although I have been teaching for thirteen years, this is my third year at Jasper! For six years, I taught French 7, French 8, and ELA 8H at Robinson Middle School, one of Jasper's feeder schools. I love that I am able to continue helping students grow in their French language proficiency at the high school level! 

Growing up 45 minutes north of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, I attended Millersville University for my Bachelor's degree in French and Education. While at MU, I studied a semester abroad in Caen, France, which is a regional capital city in the Normandie region. During my stay in Caen, I was able to converse with native speakers daily (almost no one spoke English, so I had to!), visit many historical sites, and eat lots of amazing French delicacies! After attaining my Bachelor's degree, I earned my Master's degree in Education from La Salle University in Philadelphia.

I am a huge Eagles fan and love to watch football every Sunday in the fall. Some of my other favorite pastimes include going to my Crossfit gym, reading thrillers and mysteries, singing, watching movies, and going on long walks with my husband and Belgian Malinois, Titan.
