Hello, my name is Larry Wilson. I am so excited to begin this school year as an assistant principal here at Jasper High School! I was born and raised in Missouri City, Texas, a suburb right outside of Houston, Texas. In 2011, I took a huge leap of faith and relocated to the DFW area to serve as a coordinator with one of our neighboring districts for 2 years.

In 2013, I became a teacher-coach teaching business and technology courses at the junior-high level. In 2015, I began teaching marketing at a local high school where I served as the DECA sponsor, practicum coordinator, Saturday School Administrator, and taught dual-credit courses. In 2019, I was recruited to serve as assistant principal at one of the top elementary schools in the state in Odessa, Texas.

When the opportunity to come to Jasper presented itself, I jumped right on it! I have heard amazing things about the students, families and staff here at JHS and am excited to be here to serve this wonderful community! My Why: To be the champion for young people that I myself needed as a young man.
