Mrs. Richards was born and raised in Yakima, Washington. For 8 years, she worked in healthcare, providing aquatic therapy, massage therapy and behavioral support in pediatric and adult facilities. During that time, she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. In 2014, Mrs. Richards moved to Texas and began her career in teaching. She has a passion for teaching social-emotional skills and helping children to establish routines.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and daughter, doing CrossFit, cooking, and thrift shopping.
