Miss Terranova
Hello Panthers!
I am excited to be joining the Schimelpfenig family this year as the Academic Support Teacher. Last year, I was a subsititute teacher and I feel very honored to be here full time while I grow and work on becoming a certified teacher.
I grew up in Greenville, South Carolina and have lived in Texas for alomst two years. I graduated from the University of South Carolina – Upstate with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Information Management and Systems. So you could say I know a good bit about technology and tools students can use to be successful.
I love working with students and assisting them to achieve their goals. My goal is to provide the students of Schimelpfenig an extra resource they can turn to and to see myself and their classmates as their team. I specifically enjoy helping students create plans and break down goals, helping with organization and time management skills, and working with students on a tutoring basis. My favorite subjects are math and history.
In my free time I like to explore history, watch sports, go indoor rock climbing, try new foods, and travel. I played ice hockey from middle school to college and lacrosse in college. I have a dog named Mister and I spend most of my time with him.
I am looking forward to a great year!
