Mrs. Jo is the assistant director of orchestras at Plano Senior High School. Previously, she taught at Schimelpfenig, Hendrick, and Robinson middle schools. She is a graduate of Plano West having gone through Jasper and Robinson while growing up here in Plano.

Mrs. Jo earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and a Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance from the Unviersity of North Texas studying with Professor Eugene Osadchy. While at UNT, she served as a teacher with the UNT String Project and was awarded the Dean's Camerata String Music Education Scholarship. 

In addition to teaching at Plano Senior, she enjoys being a coach to GDYO ensembles on the weekends. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her fur baby, Izzy.
