Hi, Daffron Families!
I'm a counselor and the Section 504 and Testing Coordinator. This is my sixth year as a counselor and my third year at Daffron.
Before becoming a counselor, I taught 2nd grade in both Frisco and Richardson and was a stay-at-home mom for 10 years.
The love and excitement (and sometimes chaos) at my house grew this summer when I married my husband, Ryan, and we blended our familes. Ryan and I are now the proud parents/bonus parents of 5 amazing kids, ranging in age from 15 to 5.
Although I am a graduate of Texas A&M, I am from a family of Texas Longhorns. The "house divided" rivalry has instilled in me a love for college football. My kids will tell you that I can be heard yelling at the TV from miles away.
My husband is a HUGE Mavs fan and was able to win me over to the "MFFL" mentality during Dirk's last season. Although I don't love it as much as college football, I'm starting to become a basketball fan as well.
I'm thrilled to have a counselor working with me part-time this year! I'm excited to work with the upper grade levels (3rd - 5th grades). Mrs. Albero will be working with our Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade students and has already been a wonderful addition to our staff.
I have loved my time at Daffron and am looking forward to another great year!
Welcome back, Deputies!
I will be setting a schedule with grade level teachers for guidance after Labor Day.
I am always available via email to answer any questions or concerns.
