My name is Katie Meger and I have been a Physical Education teacher in Plano ISD for 8 years. This is my 4th year at Shepard. I was born and raised in Plano and graduated from Plano Senior High School. I was a gymnast all throughout my childhood and I received a full scholarship to the University of Arizona to be on their gymnastics team. I married my high school sweetheart and we now have 3 beautiful children. Lucy is 6, Griffin is 4, and Layla is 2. I love teaching my students the importance of living a healthy lifestyle, and my goal is to make sure they are always enjoying themselves in PE. When I am not teaching, I enjoy watching sports, exercising, and spending time with my family.
