Welcome to Vines High School! I currently enjoy teaching Academic Literature I  and II.This will be my 23rd year in education. Plano has been home for my husband and I for many years, and all three of our boys attended and have graduated from Plano schools before attending college. I have previously taught  English 1, ELAR 6-8, Special Education 1-5, and 1st grade, which have all been in Plano schools. GO PLANO!

I am also very passionate about the subject of English Language Arts and Reading for all students. No matter where a student's path takes them, English helps students build foundational skills they will use to navigate through life. My goal is to purposefully and effectively guide my students in their learning so they will have the skills needed to achieve their educational goals and dreams.
