The 2022-23 school year will be my 20th year of teaching.  I received my Master's degree in Science Education from The University of Texas at Dallas.  I love teaching science in middle school and when I'm not at school I enjoy watching my daughter play softball, camping, reading, knitting, quilting and spending time with family.  The reason "why" I teach is that I want all kids to feel loved, accepted and most of all celebrated for who they are.  My hope for my students is that they can find comfort and joy by being true to themselves and becoming life-long learners. I believe this is going to be a great school year!
