Hi, I'm Sarah Kendrick. I grew up in Alabaster, Alabama. I graduated from Thompson High School in 2008 and attended Troy University. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Collaborative Education in 2012. After graduating, I married Jonathan Kendrick in November 2014. We moved to Plano in June 2021. 

This school year starts my 10th year of teaching and my second year at Bethany! I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to make an impact on the children of this community. My philosophy as an educator is to provide a safe, loving, and positive environment with high expectations to help all students be successful on their individual level.

I believe all kids learn when they're excited, motivated, and they know that they are loved. From a very early age, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher. I truly believe that this is my calling, and I am so thankful for the opportunity to learn and grow with the children in my classroom. I am looking forward to an amazing year at Bethany Elementary School!
