Hello! My name is Resard Westmoreland and I am EXCITED to be your new 5th Grade teacher here at Sigler! This is my 4th year in Plano ISD and my 2nd in Elementary. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Music after being a wandering Trumpet player at Katy High School. In past years I have taught marching band, jazz band, choir, and several band & orchestra camps before settling in General Education. When I am not sharing my loud-energetic educational spirit, I love spending time with my beautiful wife Sara and our amazing children, Miles and Brooklyn. I also love to grill/smoke BBQ on the weekends, perform drums for our church on Sundays, and create/edit entertaining and laughable media content online. I cannot wait to help the 5th Grade Sigler Stars students achieve all of the greatness in front of them!
