Ms. My'Asia Jaaber
I am excited to be joining the Plano ISD Virtual Academy this school year. I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. I relocated to Dallas last July. I attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in special education. My master's degree is in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Michigan - Go Blue! While obtaining my master's degree, I worked as a substitute teacher at schools within Ann Arbor and Detroit public schools. I am most passionate about ensuring all students have equal access to education and educational resources.
Last year, I had the pleasure of teaching a 3-5 grade classroom. This is my second-year teaching, and I am excited about the school year. I enjoy doing community service with my sorority Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and baking vegan desserts in my free time.
