6th and 7th Grade Social Studies

First of all, welcome to Guinn! I am so glad you are here. I teach 6th and 7th Grade Social Studies here at Guinn, which I am extremely excited about. I am very passionate about history and I consider it a goal of mine to teach from varying perspectives. 

This is my third year at Guinn and my fifth year teaching in Plano. 

I am a native Texan, and I moved to Plano in 2018 after graduating from University of Texas at Arlington. My husband and I share six children, ranging in age from one to twenty-two. In addition, we have two fur babies: a three year old Doberman and a seventeen year old Aussie Shepherd. For fun, I enjoy hiking, swimming, traveling, and spending time with my family. When I am not spending time with them, you will find me listening to an audio book and doing some project around my house or writing stories of my own. 

My goal this year is to connect with the next generation, build them up, and give them the education they deserve to make a difference in their own life and others.
