Hello Mariners! My name is Amy Bertrand and I’m a 4th Grade Math/Science teacher here at Haggar Elementary! This is my first year in Plano ISD and 10th year teaching. I love working with children and seeing them grow reminds me how amazing and exciting the world can be! I grew up in San Antonio and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘Em!) with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. I have been married for 12 years to my amazing husband Ryan and we have 2 children who both attend Haggar. My daughter Blair will be in 1st grade and my son Blake will be in Pre-K. In my free time you can find me at the lake, traveling and trying new restaurants with my family.
