Hello! My name is Katherine Scovic and I am embarking on my 12th year of teaching, having spent the last five years with PISD. I grew up mostly in San Antonio, Texas but spent nine years in Arizona, and have been in DFW since 2011. While I was in Arizona, I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and a Master's Degree in Secondary Education from Arizona State University. While I am new to teaching at Plano West this year, I am not unfamiliar with the campus. I spent the last five years teaching English II/ II Honors at Shepton, as well as coaching at Plano West. This year I will be teaching English III and English IV Honors and am taking a break from coaching. With my newfound free time, I plan to spend as much of it with my husband and two kiddos (Kinder & 3rd grade).
