Mrs. Sahira Jenkins

Hello there!

My name is Sahira Jenkins, and I am one of the Bilingual Second Grade teachers at Mendenhall Elementary. This is my 12th year teaching Bilingual Education. 
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Texas, and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University. 
I am happily married and have two handsome boys who are two and four years old. My favorite things to do are going on nature walks with my family, swimming, and gardening.
I love working with kids and seeing them grow emotionally and academically. I look forward to having an amazing year and doing what it takes to grow every child!

 

 

Conferences Time:  Wednesdays and Thursdays: 10:50-11:30 am and 3:00-3:30 pm   You can text through Bloomz from 6:00 am - 7:00 pm. Messages will be returned within 24 hours.
