Hello! This is my first year with Mendenhall, but my 12th year in education. I have taught just about everything between 1st and 8th grades throughout my 12 years. I spent the last several years teaching 5th grade Reading, and can't wait for many more! My husband, Stephen, and I have been married for 11 years. Together we have our second grade son, Spencer, and our 2.5 year old daughter, Sydney, along with our two dogs, Scooter (old man!) and Sadie (young lady!). I legitimately enjoy growing closer to my students AND their families because not only does it feel like a second family, but it also provides a support system that we all need! It takes a village to raise each other, does it not!? While I am a sucker for a good TV show, I also enjoy my church, being athletic, gardening when it's NOT 100 degrees, Target (haha!!), spending time with family, and organizing!
