My journey to teaching Science here at Frankford has been circuitous in that I have learned much along the way. This is my 21st year in education and I have certifications 4-8, Health, as well as for Principal. I started my career in Journalism - where I worked in radio, behind the camera, and in front of it. Then moved on to retail, home-building, advertising, and then.. Education!
I have 1 daughter, 1 wife, and two dogs - both rescues! In my spare time, I enjoy fixing things around the house, working in the yard, reading, eating, travelling, watching old movies and TV, and any other excuse that will give me an excuse to not exercise. But I am trying to do more of that.
I enjoy teaching science because it helps students to de-mystify the world and build curiosity - a trait that I believe is essential for being successful.
