Director of Choirs

Kaitlin Davis, a native of Midland, TX, is beginning her eighth year of teaching and her first year as Director of Choirs at Shepton High School. An alumnus of Texas Tech University, Mrs. Davis graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music Education and Vocal Performance. Davis began her career as an associate choir director at Nimitz Junior High School in Odessa, TX, and then as head director at Alamo Junior High School in Midland, TX. In 2017, Mrs. Davis was honored to teach at her high school alma mater as Director of Choirs at Robert E. Lee High School in Midland until 2020. Choirs under Davis' direction have received numerous awards from Music Festivals in Amarillo, Lubbock, San Antonio, and Dallas, as well as consecutive UIL Sweepstakes Ratings for several soloists and choral ensembles. During her career as a choral educator, Mrs. Davis has also had the privilege to teach private voice to students in Allen, Garland, and Lovejoy ISD in 2021-2022. Mrs. Davis is happy to start the school year with the Shepton Stallions and is looking forward to all the performances and competitions that are to come.
