I was born and raised in Plano, and attended Plano schools. I started kindergarten at Bethany elementary. Then, I attended Schimelpfenig middle school, Jasper high school, and graduated from Plano Senior High School.
In 2019, I earned my Associates of Arts in Teaching Early Childhood to grade 6 from Collin Community College, and then my Bachelors of Science in Child Learning and Development with a Teaching Certificate ec - 6 from the University of Texas at Dallas. I went on to complete my student teaching at Andrews Elementary in Plano.
My family includes my father, mother, and older sister, Mariya. Like me, Mariya graduated from the university of Texas at Dallas with her bachelors. She then returned for her masters, and now works for the same university.
My parents moved to the United States in the 90’s from Moscow. Growing up, every summer my family would go to Russia to visit relatives. I fluently speak, read, and write in Russian as well.
Skaggs Elementary is such a wonderful place to be. This school, like every Plano school, is filled with nurturing educators, brilliant kids, and a supportive community of parents. I am so thrilled to be a Skaggs Star!
