I have had the awesome opportunity to be part of the Jackson Elementary family since August 2019--first as a PreK Bilingual Teaching Assistant and now as a Fourth Grade Bilingual Teacher.
I was born in Panama City, Florida, but grew up in El Salvador and Panama before moving to California and eventually ending up in Texas. I studied Communications in college, but I am now working on my teacher certification. As a Fourth Grade Bilingual Teacher at Jackson, I feel privileged to be able to share my time with students so I can be a positive influence on their lives academically and share life lessons when applicable. I have a 15-year-old son and have always valued the importance of education in his life.
I love the fact that I have had the influence of both cultures (Hispanic and American) and I am happy to learn, help and have some fun while doing so!
