Hello, I am excited to begin the next chapter of my teaching journey at Hightower Elementary. I have been teaching k-12th grade in many capacities for over 15 years, with most of my experience in preschool and kindergarten.

As a child growing up in a family of educators, I knew at a young age that teaching was my passion; and at the age of 18 I pursued a teaching degree, later obtaining my Bachelor's in Liberal Studies. In 2005, I furthered my learning in my field by obtaining a Master's in Education and a Masters in Psychology in 2011.

In 2009, I married the "love of my life," and recently celebrated our 13th wedding Anniversary. Our greatest joy was found when we had our son Michael in 2017. He continues to be a daily inspiration as he is continually learning and growing.

I look forward to meeting each and every one of my students and their families and truly believe it will be an amazing year filled with knowledge, growth, friendships and lots of fun!
