I am so excited to grow along side the  Armstrong community, and serve in the role of Assistant Principal. A little about me: I am a proud Navy wife to Derrick, and mom of 3 amazing kiddos; DJ (16), Derien (14) and Lani (12).  I am a proud graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, and most recently earned a Masters in Educational Leadership at Lamar University. I currently serve as the President-Elect for the Plano Area Alliance of Black School Educators. I am also a Lifetime member of the PTA of my children's campus. 

 

Yo soy Americano, pero mi papa eres de Panama. Yo comprendo mucho, pero no hablar bueno.  Mi mete este año, practicar hablar en español con tu hijos. 

 

As a first generation American and college graduate, it is my goal to create efficacious spaces that allow every person I serve to reach their greatest potential.
