Hi! My name is McKenzie Skinner! This will be my sixth year of teaching. I have taught 3 years in 2nd grade and 2 years in 3rd grade. I just moved back to Texas from Arizona in March. I was lucky enough to be able to teach 5th grade at Gulledge from March to May this past school year! 

I attended Brigham Young University (Go Cougars!) where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I taught one year in Utah before moving to Arizona and teaching there for four years. I am so excited to be back and teaching in Plano!

I attended Plano ISD schools growing up. I went to Wyatt and Andrews for Elementary school, Rice for middle school, Jasper for high school, and finished out at Plano Senior High! 

I just got married in January to my amazing husband! We just bought a house over the summer! YAY! On the weekends you might find us doing projects as we work on updating our house.  

 I’m so excited for a stellar year in second grade!
