I have been teaching for over 20 years and have taught all ages (adults to pre-k).  My passions are English and Social Studies as well as social skills development. I recently moved back to Plano after being in Norman, OK for the last 9 years.  I love middle school students as they are in such a transitional time in their lives and I have found that this is the best time to catch them before they have the rigor of high school. My students will tell you that I love coffee and Dr. Seuss because they are both required to live. (laugh). I use a lot of humor in teaching because I think it takes the pressure off of kids and is crucial when learning new and complex concepts. It is also critical for parents to be engaged in student activities and learning so we can all be on the same page for each student's social and academic goals and achievements.  It is going to be a great year Rice Ravens!! Let's get this school year started!!
