I graduated from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and after a year of teaching Pre-K, I decided to teach abroad.

I came back after teaching in South Korea for 4 years.

I taught Kindergarten for most of my time there.

It was a life experience and taught me a lot about myself and why I love being a teacher so much! I also received my Master’s in ESL while there.

My husband and I moved to Dallas early this year, along with my toy poodle, Dorian Gray (Dori for short)! 

I finished last school year as a 1st grade teacher and am so excited to be starting my 6th year teaching Kindergarten here at Mitchell!
