Mrs. Marisol Melendez
Hello! My name is Marisol Melendez and I am so excited to join the Weatherford family this upcoming year as a bilingual first year teacher. I was born and raised in Morelia, Mexico where I also studied my Bachelors and my Master degree. By 2017, I moved to Texas and I decided to continue my childhood dream job “BE A TEACHER”. Since then, I have worked in CFBISD, Plano ISD, Dallas ISD and this year I will be back to Plano ISD. I love to travel, crafting, baking and spend time with my husband, parents and brothers. Education is very important, especially the first couple of years, since these form the basis for the rest of the academic trajectory and their lives. For this reason, I am 100% dedicated to the teaching and learning of my students.
¡Hola! Mi nombre es Marisol Melendez y estoy muy emocionada de unirme a la familia Weatherford como maestra bilingüe de primer grado. Nací y crecí en Morelia, Mexico donde también estudié mi licenciatura y maestría. Para el año 2017 me mudé a Texas y decidí continuar con mi sueño de niña “SER MAESTRA”, desde entonces he estado trabajando en CFBISD, Plano ISD, Dallas ISD y este año regresaré a Plano ISD. Me encanta viajar, hacer manualidades, hornear y pasar el tiempo con mi esposo, padres y hermanos.
La educación es algo de suma importancia especialmente los primeros años ya que estos fomentan la base del resto de su trayectoria académica y de sus vidas. Por esta razón estoy 100% dedicada al aprendizaje de mis estudiantes.
