I am extremely honored to be serving as the Principal at Bowman Middle School. While this will be my 1st year as Bowman’s principal, I have been an Assistant Principal for 6 years in both middle and high school.  I spent last year supporting Shepton High School here in Plano ISD and 2 years supporting Hudson Middle School plus 3 years supporting Sellers Middle School in Garland ISD as an Assistant Principal. Before I was an Assistant Principal, I was an ESL Facilitator/Coach in Coppell ISD for 4 years after having been an English Language Arts and Reading/ESL/Social Studies teacher in Garland for 5 years prior to that.  

I began my teaching career by teaching overseas in various countries before I moved to Texas to teach. I grew up in Las Vegas, NV. I have spent years learning abroad in both high school (New Zealand and Australia) and college (Spain and China). Having both studied and taught overseas, I have always been a student of the world and people. I love the synergistic cycle of teaching and learning.  My greatest passion is helping others find theirs, so teaching was definitely my heart's calling.  

When not in school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends as well as my 3 Great Danes. You may also find me boxing, dancing, gardening, traveling, or reading a good book. 

I am here if you should need anything!  I became an educator because I believe every person is uniquely valuable to this world and it is our job as educators to establish a safe, supportive, innovative environment where everyone can discover and be their greatest selves!
