Hi! My name is Kristina Mejias. I was born in New York and raised in beautiful Puerto Rico. I have a bachelor’s degree in environmental biology and became a teacher 14 years ago when I moved to Texas. I’ve been working in elementary education mostly as an ESL lead, Special Education Resource, and Reading interventionist for the past 14 years and I love it! I am happily married and have an 11 year old daughter. I enjoy reading, road trips, trying new foods, spending time with my family and traveling. I feel honored to be part of the Shepard family and know it will be an amazing school year!
