I am Kimberly Davis and I am excited to be the Mendenhall Elementary STRIVE Special Education teacher. This is my ninth year in education and seventh year teaching self-contained specialn education. This is my first year in Plano and I am looking forward to working with the families, children, and colleagues.

I am originally from Saginaw, Michigan, where I graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a Bachelor's of Management. Later, I graduated with a Master's of Science Administration from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.  I began my professional career in retail management later moving to food sales, pharmaceutical sales and hospice community education. I began my teaching career in Monroe, Louisiana, teaching 4th grade English Lanaguage Arts, later moving to self-contained special education.

My family includes my husband, Christopher and four children; Arianna, a senior; Christopher, Jr. a freshman; Joshua, a sixth grader and my angel son, Zachary.
