Hello parents, students and families! My name is Janice Cruz and I'm the ESL/Dual Language Instructional Coach for Pre-K, Kinder and First grade. I was born, raised and educated in Puerto Rico. I hold a Bachelor's  Degree of Arts in Spanish Secondary Education and a minor in Modern Languages from The University of Puero Rico, Rio Piedras. I began my teaching career 19 years ago; I have taught Bilingual/Monolingual Pre-K, Kinder and Special Education while working in PISD since 2011. I'm so excited to join the Mendenhall family in my first year as Instructional Coach by teaching and supporting our Longhorns community.
