Ms. Ashley Robinson

Hello Longhorn family!

This is my first year teaching and I am ecstatic to begin my journey at a place as wonderful as Mendenhall!

Throughout my collegiate experience I have worked in multiple grade levels ranging from K-6th while gaining knowledge and experience with all subjects. During high school and college, I worked with children from 6mo - 18 years old, working at a daycare and coaching softball. It has been such a pleasure being able to work with kids of all ages and being a part of their growth in various parts of their lives. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in 4th grade and to start my career in that exact grade level is so exciting! My favorite part about being a teacher and working with these wonderful kiddos is the ability to watch them grow mentally, emotionally, and academically. I am so excited to meet your young scholars and I can't wait to see how much growth this year holds for all of us!

A little about me!

I graduated from Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education in 2020. I then returned home to Dallas, Texas to start my Master's program, online, at the University of Houston. I worked at a collision repair center as customer experience rep. while working on my Master's and getting my credentials switched over to Texas. While working at the collision center, I spent my free time working with young athletes doing pitching lessons. I grew up playing softball, 15+ years worth and it is my other passion besides teaching. I have attended the Women's College World Series 4 times in the last 5 years with my dad. When I am not at work or at a ball field, my hobbies include reading, spending time with my dog, Nokona, and venturing out to First Monday in Canton to go shopping with my mom.

I look forward to this school year and meeting your kiddos!
