Hi there!  My name is Kim May and I'm so excited to be working at the Solomon Center!  I grew up in Plano, and after graduating from Plano Senior High, I attended Louisiana Tech University.  I lived in south Louisiana for 12 years and moved back home to Plano after Hurricane Katrina.  I completed my bachelor's at Texas A&M- Commerce.

I have been teaching in the district for 12 years.  I taught Special Education at Plano Senior High for 10 years, and was the Team Lead for Special Education at Shepard Elementary last year.

I am blessed with having two beautiful girls.  Madelynn (23yo) graduated, May 2022, from Louisiana Tech in Finance.  She lives in Fort Worth and is gearing up to start her professional career as a Financial Planner and trading stocks on the NY stock exchange.  Grace Ann (20yo) attends the Solomon Adult Transiiton Center; this is her second year at Solomon.  We call her "Amazing Grace", and I'm thrilled to be working at her school again.

This is a wonderful opportunity for me, and I'm excited to start this new journey with all of you!
