I am thrilled to be a Schimelpfenig Panther this year! I am in my 13th year in education and excited about serving as the Academic Specialist. I am responsible for supporting students through Section 504 and Multi Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). I love getting to know the students and supporting them as they navigate middle school. Middle school students are my favorite and I have spent all of my career in grades 6-8. 

Previously, I taught middle school Math and Science and still love all things STEM! I got my bachelor's and master's degrees in middle school education from TCU, and you'll find my husband and I cheering on the Horned Frogs football each Saturday in the Fall. I also enjoy spending time with my son, running, and traveling.
