Hello all! 

I am Miss Johnson. This year I am teaching 8th grade ELA Honors and On Level. Previously, I taught Pre-K, so this is a very big jump in age and learning requirements, but I am so excited to see how the year will go. 

I was born and raised in California, but I moved to a small town in Texas called Seguin right before my senior year of high school. After graduating, I went up north to Peoria, Illinois to attend Bradley University. I later graduated in 2021 and obtained my BS in Journalism with a minor in Sociology. I have so many hobbies that I wanted to make a career out of, but I've always loved teaching and seeing the constant growth in those I am teaching. 

Outside of school, I tend to read. A lot. Whether it's fiction, nonfiction, psychology, etc. Reading has always been something I enjoyed, but that's not really surprising. I often indulge in sports photography when I have the time to do so. If I'm not at work, then I am most likely spending time with my family and my two dogs. 

I want to make those connections with the Razorbacks, but overall, I want to ensure they not only learn, but comprehend the information that I am delivering. My overall goal is to be the teacher I needed in middle school and I truly hope they can see that! 

I am so excited about joining the Robinson family.
