My name is Onvia Barnhill.  I am so excited to be teaching 7th Grade English and Reading this year!  I grew up in Plano and attended Shepard, Wilson, Vines, and Plano Senior High School.  I was a member of the Ram Band, the Vines Band, a Vikette, and a Planoette.  I attended The University of Arkansas where I received my Bachelor of Science in Education.  During my time in college, I was the feature twirler as well as  a member of the Razorback Marching Band.  I have been teaching for 21 years.  This will be my 15th year in Plano ISD.
