Hi there! 

This is my first year at Shepton High School, but I am a Plano ISD grad. I went through the Plano East feeder pattern of Murphy, Williams, and then Plano East with both of my younger brothers going through the Plano East feeder starting in Kinder. After high school, I went on to Texas Tech and graduated with a degree in Media & Communications with an interest in sports marketing and broadcasting. I worked for Tech Athletics and a local TV station when I made the jump into education because I missed working with students too much. 

I originally started out teaching 9th grade English in Dallas ISD, but moved down to teach 6th grade in Carrolton-Farmers Branch for a little, before moving back up to 9th here at Shepton. 

Along with teaching English 1, I am also the Yearbook coordinator. So, make sure you get your yearbooks ordered before it is too late!
