Hello! My name is Dan McLay and I teach Honors Biology and Biology. I recently moved here from Utah and am so excited to teach in Texas, especially here at Shepton High School. I am a veteran of the US Army and loved serving my country.  I got my undergraduate degree from Southern Utah University in Biology Education with an emphasis in Botany. I love teaching biology and I am especially excited about teaching your child this year. I love science and hope that I can be part of helping your child gain a love of science as well! It is my goal to get to know each student I have and learn how I can better help them in this experience. I also coach volleyball and girls' soccer. I love working with our students in this capacity.
