Coach Moreno brings fourteen years of teaching and coaching experience to the greater Plano ISD. Coach Moreno now teaches HGAP-AP World Geography & ESL On-Level World geography at Shepton High School. Coach Moreno also coaches 9th grade football and basketball at Shepton High School as well.

Coach Moreno has also coached Baseball, Softball, and Soccer for the greater Clint ISD in El Paso, Texas. Coach Moreno is no stranger to the greater Dallas area. He received his B. A. in Economics & Business from Austin College in Sherman, Texas in 1982.

Coach Moreno played basketball for the Roos during the 1978-80 seasons under the tutelage of the late great Coach Dr. Bob Mason. Coach Moreno has been married to his wife Rosie for 41 glorious years and has a daughter, Nicole, 36, who is a R.N. at the Baylor & Scott Heart Hospital in Plano, Texas.
