I recently joined Renner Middle School after a career of over 30 years in the high-tech industry. I have worked at some of the leading engineering companies in the U.S., including Texas Instruments, Raytheon Systems, and IBM, as well as a variety of small businesses and startups.

My career has spanned many areas and roles, including software and systems product development, program management, and training, coaching, and mentoring on software and systems methods, policies, and practices. 

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science from The Ohio State University, and certifications in project management, Agile methods and practices (SAFe Agilist and SCM), a Custom MBA Certificate from UT, and a certificate in Digital Marketing from the Wharton School, and am a U.S. Patent Holder.

I strongly believe in growing and maintaining a diverse pipeline of talent in the STEM fields and am a strong advocate of the Arts. I've been actively working in this area for over 20 years as a Founding Member and past VP of the Alliance of Technology and Women. In addition, I'm the current Secretary of the Texas Flute Society.
