I was born in Charleston, WV.  I grew up and went to school in Houston (Alief). I followed my wife to Plano after graduating from Stephen F Austin University.  Cathy and I have been happily married for 25 years, and we have been blessed with twins, Caitlin and Dylan, who are now seniors at Plano West.  The new addiction to our family is Bella Rose, a beautiful golden doodle mix.

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin State University.  This is my 27th year teaching and coaching in Plano ISD.  

Each day I spend my mornings at Barksdale Elementary School teaching physical education.  In addition to teaching, I am the Head Softball Coach and Asst. Atheletic Coordinator at Plano West Senior High School.  I have been coaching at Plano West since the school opened in 1999-2000.  This is the start of my 24th year as the Head Softball Coach/Coordinator at Plano West.
