Kristi Pavlasek

I am originally from New Orleans, LA.   I received my Bachelors of Education from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1991.  My first 10 years of teaching were in a suburb outside of Houston and the last 22 years have been at Barksdale teaching 5th grade.

Outside of school, I love to spend time with my husband, stepson and dog.  I enjoy shopping, cooking and traveling.

The amazing students, dedicated staff, and outstanding parent community make Barksdale a wonderful place.  I enjoy going to work and teaching our future leaders. I look forward to helping my students become responsible and independent children who love learning.
