Originally from The Bronx in New York City, my family and I moved to Plano in 2004 following my retirement from the U.S. Marine Corps.  I started my teaching career at Austin Academy in Garland ISD teaching 8th grade U.S. History and coaching.  

After receiving my Master's Degree and Principal Certification, I served as an Assistant Principal at Hillsboro Junior High School in Hillsboro, TX and the Townview Magnet Center in Dallas ISD.

During the 2010-2011 school year I was brought on as an assistant principal at Shepton High School in Plano ISD and started at Plano Senior High School the next school year in 2011-2012 where I have been ever since.

We have three Plano Senior graduates in our family.  Kyle ('07), Courtenay ('10), and Caitlyn ('14).  My oldest daughter, Sylvia, graduated high school prior to our arriving in Plano.  My wife, Sandra, taught at Plano Senior before retiring.
