We are located at 1300 19th Street in Plano – one block east of Avenue K, south of Park Blvd. and north of 15th Street. From the west, travel east on Park Blvd. to Avenue K, turn right. At the flashing yellow lights across from the fire station, turn left – that is 19th St. (between Advance Auto Parts and O’Reilly Auto). Go about a block and then turn right into our parking lot just after the shopping center. We are located in a brick two story building which faces 19th Street. Our entrance is at the far east end of the building which is the main entrance. You need to be “buzzed” into the building by pressing the white button marked PFL. Please plan on arriving a few minutes earlier than the scheduled start time. On Wednesdays only, if you arrive after 5 pm, please call 469-752-2262 and staff will answer the phone and know to come to the office to buzz you in. On Thursdays, there is someone in the office to answer the door.
PFL is located on the second floor and activities are in Room 220. Please fill out a volunteer information card, sign in and log your hours on the sheet provided at the volunteer desk outside the office at the east end of the hall. Make a press-on name tag so the teachers can call you by name. Please introduce yourself to the teacher(s).
We follow PISD dress code guidelines. No cell phones allowed while volunteering.
