Hello Wildcat family! 

I am the AVID teacher and Career & Technology (CTE) department chair at Vines. This is my 22nd year as a teacher in Plano ISD.  I am also a Vines and PSHS alumna ('94) and proud graduate of the University of Arkansas.  I am originally from Indiana but have lived in Texas for a long time.  I started my teaching career at Haggard Middle School as a Spanish teacher and have been at Vines for the past 18 years as the AVID teacher and coordinator. My goal is to cultivate empathy and kindness in our school and community and to equip my students with the skills needed for success beyond high school. I am fortunate to be part of a program that has blessed me in so many ways.  AVID is a family.  

I'm really looking forward to the 2023-24 school year!
