I am a Spanish teacher and the department chair of Clark's LOTE department. This is my fifteenth year at Clark and my 25th year of teaching in various parts of the country. I am a graduate of Valparaiso University in Northwest Indiana. I am married and all three of our kids graduated from Plano Senior High School. I love to travel, especially to Spanish-speaking countries. If there is any spare time in my day, I like to unwind with a Peloton ride. I am also an avid fan of the Mets, and I have questioned that decision for the entirety of this year's season.
During my time at Clark, I have taught various levels of Spanish, and currently teach Spanish 1, 3 and 3 Honors. Our main goal for language learners in Plano is that they can communicate in the target language, and I love watching my students become more proficient in their speaking and writing in practical and real-life situations.
